EU cohesion funds, which are a mainstay of financing for newer member states, have come under fire, as a proposition put forward by all 27 national representatives to the EU demands a cut of 5 billion euro out of a total of 9 billion euro in cohesion funds for next year’s budget. What does this mean for Poland?

Also in the programme, this month Poland assumed the year-long presidency of the Visegrad Group, a forum for cooperation between Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. But can these four countries, given the differences between them, really speak in one voice?

Talking to Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, Michał Kubicki asked him about the main goals of Poland’s presidency and the challenges ahead for this regional grouping.
