Sir Simon Rattle, originally from Liverpool, is the chief conductor of the Berliner Philharmoniker and artistic director of the Berliner Philharmonie.

In an interview for Polish Radio, Sir Simon talks about his fascination with Witold Lutosławski.

"I just wish he was around to see how much the people are playing his music and how much they love it, how much he’s taken his place as one of the obvious masters of music," he said.
