“I will not resist arrest,” said the 17 year-old reportedly said when officers from the Central Bureau of Investigations (CBA) detained him this morning.

Police were tipped off about the possible attack – which the 17 year-old promised was “not a joke” - by police in Germany.

The 17 year-old threatened to repeat the outrage by alleged Norwegian killer Andres Breivik, who on 22 July murdered 77 people on the island of Utoya and in Oslo.

Police officers have seized the teenagers computer equipment and experts will examine their contents.

The detainee is now in the hands of local prosecutors. If found guilty he could face up to 10 years in prison. (mzj/pg)
