The quake at a mine, belonging to Polish copper giant KGHM, occured at around 10am on Saturday.
"A commission is now to be set up to probe the details of the collapse," KGHM's spokesperson Lidia Marcinkowska-Bartkowiak has said.
Three of the injured miners are in a serious condition.
In December, 13 miners, including 12 Poles, died in a methane blast at a Czech coal mine in Karvina, close to the southern Polish border.
