Łapiński, who was once a driving force behind PR campaigns for Poland's ruling Law and Justice party, submitted his resignation on Monday, according to the Rzeczpospolita daily.

He told the paper: “It was a great adventure for me.”

“I turned 40, which is a good time for bold decisions,” he said, adding: “It’s time for new challenges, new plans and projects.”

Łapiński plans to withdraw from politics and set up a PR agency to provide services to business clients, Rzeczpospolita reported.
