Abandoned building fire claims three lives

Three people have died as a result of a fire in an abandoned building in Warsaw’s eastern Wawer district, police have said.

Firefighters were called out to a blaze in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
While fighting the flames they found three people, two of whom still showed signs of life.
But ambulance officers were unable to save them.
Police did not comment on the cause of the fire. (vb/pk)
