Twenty-eight historians from Poland and Ukraine as well as the United States and Germany are expected to take part in the two-day conference, which focuses on Polish-Ukrainian relations during World War II, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.

The event, organised by Poland’s Institute of National Remembrance (IPN), aims to foster the exchange of views and examine the state of research on Polish-Ukrainian relations during World War II.

The conference includes panel discussions on war crimes and the convoluted history of the Polish and Ukrainian populations under German and Soviet occupation.
