Firefighters were called out 180 times, mostly to remove broken branches and trees from roads, and to pump out water from flooded cellars.
Most of the call-outs were in the southern Lower Silesia region, the central-western Wielkopolska region and the Pomorze region in the north of Poland.
Fire service spokesman Paweł Frątczak said there were no reports of anyone having been injured as a result of the strong winds.
