“It was said that the anti-terrorist law is damaging but thanks to the anti-terrorist law we were able to bring about the deportation of several people from Poland who had links, for example, with terrorist organizations,” Błaszczak told state broadcaster Polish Radio.

Błaszczak said Poland was prepared and had the appropriate tools to counter terrorist threats.

Polish President Andrzej Duda last year signed into law an anti-terror bill which the government said would increase security, but which critics claimed would curb civil liberties.
