Heated arguments between drivers are an increasingly frequent sight on Polish roads, according to a Wednesday report by the Rzeczpospolita daily.

Polish drivers most often insult each other and overuse the horn, but some of them also resort to using force, the paper says.

It quotes the findings of a pan-European Driving Responsibility Barometer survey according to which 80 percent of drivers are afraid of aggression on the roads.

Police in Poland have launched a campaign called "Stop Road Aggression," encouraging people to send in videos with bad behaviour by drivers. (str/pk)
