Stanisławczyk has headed Polish Radio since January 2016.
In an interview on Friday she said that her four-year term “will see a continuation of her previous work, which is to comprehensively develop the station.”
“I treat Polish Radio as a cultural institution, a music agency, event organiser and record label,” Stanisławczyk said.
In a vote on Thursday, the National Media Council – which oversees Polish Radio, the public TVP broadcaster and the PAP news agency – also chose Mariusz Staniszewski as deputy chairman of the company. (rg)
