Among those people were ten children, the report said, adding that the victims “were sexually abused and forced into slave labour”.

The document highlighted that Poland is a "transit country" through which victims from Eastern Europe and Asia are transported to Europe and other destination countries where victim will be trafficked.

“The victims of human trafficking in Poland are mostly young people with primary education and unemployed. They are used for sex, or forced labour, forced to commit crimes, to beg, and to fraudulently obtain loans and social benefits,” the report said. (rg)
