The bureau’s website features the images of 15 individuals implicated in an international network producing and distributing child pornography online.
The men, both Polish nationals and foreigners from countries such as Norway and Ireland, were arrested over a period of two years. One of the detainees is a minor, aged 17.
Since 2014, CBŚ cybercrime investigators in Poznań have identified over 750 people linked to the ring.
The detainees’ images were released after a court approved the move. The bureau has appealed to individuals who have fallen prey to the sexual predators to come forward.
The distribution of child pornography carries a sentence of up to 12 years in prison in Poland. (aba)
