The Congress has attracted over 8,000 business and banking executives, economic leaders and politicians, including Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydło and her deputies Mateusz Morawiecki and Jarosław Gowin, EU Commissioner for Digital Economy Günther Oettinger, former Prime Minister and President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek and the Governor of the Odessa region in Ukraine, former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili.

The debates and panels during the three-day event focus on the most important economic challenges in the difficult geopolitical conditions, notably the war conflicts in the east and south of the continent.

Energy, digitalisation, prospects for young entrepreneurs and health policies are also on the agenda.

One of the accompanying events of the Congress, which is held for the 8th time, is the European Startup Days.

Attended by some 2,000 participants, it brings together owners of new innovative companies and CEOs of big corporations. (mk/rg)
