An unnamed source has told the Wprost magazine that the lessons are conversational in nature, conducted by a British native speaker and take place at the Prime Minister’s Chancellery.

The lessons aim to make a good impression during the country’s upcoming EU presidency as well as for him to stand a better chance in a bid for the post of the European Commission president in 2014 when the current chief, José Manuel Barroso’s second term comes to an end., claims Wprost.

“Donald Tusk is liked in Brussels, enjoys good relations with EU leaders, while his candidacy would probably be supported by Berlin,” an official tells the magazine. (di/pg)
