Polish police are searching for a man in connection with the alleged murder of a woman who was found beheaded at a Warsaw apartment.

The man is understood to be a librarian who had apparently had an appointment with the victim for a foreign language lesson.
Police were called to a flat in Warsaw's Żoliborz district on Wednesday night after a fire broke out at the property.
Officers have suggested the fire was a failed attempt to cover the murderer's tracks.
Several photographs of the suspect have been released and police are appealing for help. (nh)
