Marching under the banner "Not in Our Name", the peace protesters have condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Paris.

The event was organised by the Wrocław Center for Culture and Education, together with the local Fransciscan Monastery.

The march served to demonstrate that Muslims living in the city are regular citizens who work, raise kids and condemn extremist violence.

"We have decided to go out onto the streets so that we can all get to know each other better," said one of the organisers of the march.

Together with ethnic Poles attending the event, they brandished slogans such as "No to ISIS", "Together against Terrorism" and "No to Demonising Islam." (aba/rk)
