Zbrojewska was apprehended in Łódż, central Poland, and a breathalyzer confirmed that she was over the limit.

According to police in the city, she was initially approached by another driver after he noticed that she was performing strange manoeuvres.

The man immediately noticed the odour of alcohol and called the police, who say that the woman behaved aggressively towards officers.

Zbrojewska is due to be charged on Tuesday, and she could face two years in prison. (nh/rk)
