The aircraft, which is owned by the Icelandic logistics company, made a loop over an area of central Poland before returning to Chopin airport in Warsaw (WAW). It was headed towards the German city of Erfurt (ERF).
The Bluebird plane took off from WAW at 22:04 on Thursday, but touched ground again just 21 minutes later.
