This is four percentage points more than in January.

According to a survey by the CBOS Institute, forty-three percent of the respondents say that the country’s economy is in a bad shape.

One in every four Poles expects a deterioration of the country’s economic situation whereas 18 percent hope for an improvement over the next twelve months.

In its comment on the results of the poll, the institute attributes the latest changes in public sentiments to the protests by various professional groups, which resulted in a drastic fall in the popularity ratings of the government. (mk/rg)
