Zuzanna M. (full name withheld under Polish privacy laws) was arrested on Monday with her 18-year-old boyfriend Kamil N., and according to police the couple have already confessed to the crime.

Kamil N.'s parents were stabbed to death in the early hours of Saturday morning, while they slept in their beds at home in Rakowiska, near Biala Podlaska, eastern Poland.

That same day, Zusanna M. wrote a post on Facebook under her pen name Maria Goniewicz inviting readers to meet to discuss her recently published volume of poetry, entitled 33.

''HELLO KRAKOW!'' she wrote.

''Today you can arrange to meet me in town regarding 33... warmest greetings.''

Zuzanna M. described herself on her profile as ''insolently young, insolently talented.''

In an interview given with local media in June following the publication of 33, she said that her experiments with poetry began ''following a huge tragedy in my private life.

According to prosecutors investigating the murder, the couple had planned the murder for two weeks.

Allegedly, Kamil N.'s parents objected to his choice of partner.

''At first, it [the murder] was supposed to be a joke, but after a while they decided that it was a good idea,'' said Beata Syk-Jankowska, a spokesman for the Prosecutor's Office in Lublin.

One of the investigators told the Gazeta Wyborcza daily that of the crime scene that ''the house was awash with blood.

''I have not seen anything like this in 30 years of work.'' (nh)
