The two men, aged 28 and 29, died in a burns clinic in Siemanowice Slaskie, southern Poland, where two other miners also failed to recover.
The remaining victim was found underground over the weekend, after a protracted rescue operation.
37 miners were caught in the disaster, 36 of whom managed to reach the service - some unaided - within hours of the apparent explosion.
An on-duty doctor at the burns clinic has said that “there has been no deterioration” in the condition of the remaining patients.
Meanwhile, public prosecutors from Katowice are interviewing witnesses so as to ascertain whether or not there were any irregularities at the site, prior to or during the rescue operation.
The director of the mine, Eugeniusz Malobedzki, was dismissed last week. However, the KHW company which owns the mine has declined to comment on the reasons for his dismissal. (nh)
