Snow in Tatras on first day of autumn

The snow fall was recorded on the Giewont mountain pass, which reaches up to 1800 metres, as a cold snap and low pressure led to cold temperatures all over the country, with the mercury level in mountain regions falling to below freezing.

Temperatures are expected to climb again towards the end of the week. (pg)
