Warsaw man arrested for procuring pornography from teenager

According to police spokesman Mariusz Mrozek, the man had been in contact with the girl via an internet site for a period of several months.

“Among other items, the man encouraged the girl to take pictures of intimate parts of her and her younger sister's bodies,” Mrozek said.

The man is also understood to have received a short “pornographic” film featuring the elder girl.

Police have seized computers, telephones and memory cards used by the 27-year-old man, who could face up to 12 years in prison.

Suspicions were initially sparked after the elder sister spent increasing amounts of time alone with her computer at night.

Her mother convinced the girl to reveal her password for the internet site in question, and the parent duly discovered several months of correspondence between the 27-year-old man and the girl.

The suspect is being provisionally held for three months. (nh)
