According to the survey, which took in 27 European countries alongside Canada and the USA, only Romania has more dissatisfied children than Poland.
The respondents turned out to be most happy in the Netherlands, where 94 percent declared that they were generally “satisfied with their life.”
In spite of the economic crisis, children in Greece and Spain came high up the list in terms of personal happiness.
Meanwhile, in Germany, which is weathering the crisis notably better than many of its neighbours, children do not feel especially sastisfied, with the Germans ranking 22nd in the survey. (nh)
