The Government Information Center says that the head of the liberal-conservative Civic Platform (PO) party will be discharged from hospital on Friday to attend a vote in parliament, however.
PM Tusk had intended to be present in the Sejm, the lower house of parliament, today for a debate on an opposition motion to dismiss health minister Bartosz Arlukowicz.
Donald Tusk has led the centre-right Civic Platform/PSL coalition government since 2007, which was re-elected for a second term in 2011. (pg)
