The Feast of Corpus Christi is a national holiday in Poland, as many faithful gather to take part in processions across the country.

Speaking on the demographic slow-down seen in Poland and across Europe, Nycz voiced that “pessimists think that it is too late for a revival, a reversal of these tragic demographics.”

“We are not allowed to put it this way, as we are people of Christian hope,” Nycz added.

The procession took place after a Holy Mass was said the Church of St. Anne in Warsaw, and was attended by Warsaw bishops, clerics, scouts, members of the Armed Forces, as well as representatives of the capital’s parishes. (jb)
