Presidential advisor Roman Kuźniar talks to report Michał Kubicki on Poland's foreign policy outlook for 2012.
Analysts agree that 2012 won't be an easy time for foreign policy, with Poland needing to keep up relations within the EU and a need to work out a strategy in the face of a new fiscal union.
According to presidential advisor Roman Kuźniar, Poland "has to be active in the negotiations of a new EU treaty, as many of its detials will have a fundamental impact on Poland's economic future," adding that the country will have to work closely with France and Germany "to have a good treaty which will serve well the credibility of the eurozone."
Kuźniar told reporter Michał Kubicki that the EU may fall into stagnation "for years and years," and that the bloc should aim "to restore its economic dynamism and political strength." (jb)
