One of the places that hold a special place in Poland' s history is the eastern city of Pulawy connected very closely with the Noble Czartoryski family.

One of the most prominent and influential families of their time when Poland was known as the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth they played a dominant role in the political, social and cultural scenes of the country in the 18th century.

The family and their Puławy residence was featured in George Burnett's View of the Present State of Poland published in London in 1807.
