Monument to Polish general unveiled in Scotland
A new monument of Polish WWII hero General Stanisław Maczek was recently unveiled in Edinburgh to remind its citizens about deep historical ties between Poland and Scotland.

It was unveiled last week and symbolises countless stories of intertwined fates, such as that told by Gail Mlekodaj, the daughter of one of Maczek's soldiers. Polish Radio's Adam Dabrowski spoke to Gail Mlekodaj.
