Poland set to launch anti-smog programme
Poland is ready to launch its Clean Air programme to combat smog, the country’s environment ministry announced on Tuesday.

The project will cost billions of euros. It aims to help Poland solve the problem of smog over the next decade or so. The money will mainly go to improving the thermal efficiency of homes.
“We offer financial support ... those more financially strapped will receive 90 percent [subsidies],” Environment Minister Henryk Kowalczyk said.
