Free bank accounts under EU directive
Starting on Wednesday, all banks in the European Union must provide basic fee-free accounts to clients as the bloc’s Personal Accounts Directive comes into force.

Experts in Poland have welcomed the new measure, saying it will help encourage people to have a bank account, especially those who were until now deterred by banking fees.
