Polish firefighters help tackle blazes in Sweden
Over 40 fire engines and 140 firemen from Poland have arrived in Sweden to help fight local forest fires as part of an international effort.

The wildfires were caused by high temperatures that are unusual for Scandinavia, and have become so serious that they have prompted an international response.
“The teams are expected to stay for two weeks, which is the standard procedure. But we could help for two months if need be,” says the Chief Commander of the Polish Fire Service, Leszek Suski.
