The European Commission has proposed that the legal status of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline will be determined through negotiations between Russia and the European Union, which raises concerns for the Polish government.
Wojciech Jakóbik, an energy expert from Poland's Jagiellonian University said that “the Nord Stream 2 [gas pipeline] is to be treated in a special way because it is important for a number of European companies.”
Jakóbik said such action is “unacceptable”.
