Latvian and Polish presidents meet in Warsaw
Polish President Andrzej Duda discussed regional cooperation with Latvian counterpart Raimonds Vejonis in Warsaw on Monday.

After the meeting, Duda said that they “talked about implementing the decisions taken at a NATO summit in Warsaw, ahead of the Brussels NATO Summit”.
Vejonis said the two countries shared opinions on global issues and challenges to the region.
President Duda also said that Poland has a good relationship with Latvia, based on mutual trust, and strengthened by common history
He added that Latvia will support Poland's bid for a non-permanent seat on the UN security council in 2018-2019.
