US Combat team arrives in Poland
Implementation of decisions on strengthening NATO's eastern flank which were taken at the July Alliance summit in Warsaw have entered a decisive stage.

One of the direct outcomes of these decisions is that more US soldiers and hardware of the Armored Brigade Combat Team have been arriving in Poland throughout the past week.
Sławek Szefs reports that the final group is expected on Saturday.
“It’s cold but it’s beautiful here and we’re mainly to do some training with the other countries,” Sgt. Jasmine Davis, deployed from Fort Carson (Colorado), told Polish Radio.
National defense minister Antoni Macierewicz said during Thursday's welcoming ceremony that 7,000 NATO troops will arrive in Poland within the next few months.
