Poland ponders free trade agreement with Canada
The Polish government is discussing the provisions of the new European free trade agreement with Canada.

Sławek Szefs reports that CETA, similarly to the TTIP deal being negotiated with the United States, has evoked considerable controversy and differences of opinion in various economic circles.
Generally, the government in Warsaw sees CETA as beneficial for Poland but has concerns regarding so-called investment arbitration.
“There could be certain areas where a conflict of interests […] must be solved in a well-balanced manner,” says Wojciech Warski, an expert with the Business Center Club.
