Robert Biedroń must be one of the most unexpected local government heads in Poland. An activist for LGBT rights who became the first openly gay member of the Polish parliament, now he is tackling the plethora of problems of the mid-northern city of Słupsk, continuing to champion causes of animal rights, and also marrying lots of people from all over. He is talking to Elżbieta Krajewska.
