World Youth Days 2016 in Poland are expected to draw up to 2.5 million pilgrims from around the world to the country.

To mark the occasion The Center for the Thought of John Paul II in Warsaw has prepared a special Metropolitan Culture Zone World Youth Day participants, foreign tourists and all Varsovians. It is to host many events related to culture, sports and social consciousness while centering around the themes of mercy and solidarity, with a special focus on those concepts in John Paul II's legacy.
