Poland has opened a liquid natural gas (LNG) terminal in Świnoujście, north-western Poland, in an effort to diversify its gas supplies and ensure energy safety in the future.

Poland's newly opened LNG terminal in the Baltic sea has just received its first shipment from Qatar. The Al-Nuaman ship delivered 206,000 cubic meters of liquefied natural gas on Saturday, opening a new chapter in Poland's energy strategy.
