European Economic Congress wraps up in Katowice
Over 6000 heads of states, members of governments, experts, eminent businessmen and social activists met at the European Economic Congress in Katowice to discuss the future development of the European Union.

The three day event focused on the competitiveness of the European economy, the EU's internal market as well as problems of Central and Eastern Europe.
The event was a three-day cycle of debates and meetings and. Panelists took part in over 90 sessions and discussions covering the most significant issues for the economic and social development of Europe. A key debate was devoted to common EU energy policy and energy solidarity.
