The British cadets are retracing "The Long March" of allied prisoners from German military prison camp Stalag Luft 3 - now the P.O.W Camps Museum in Żagań, in the south-west.
As the tribute march began, led by World War 2 veteran, Air Commodore Charles Clarke, director of the Museum Marek Łazarz was on the line to Elżbieta Krajewska.
