The expected outcome of the upcoming two-week UN talks on global warming is a new international agreement that will be applicable to all.

“[Poland] supports the overall goals,” Foreign Minister Waszczykowski stated, adding that “[Poland] supports that the air be cleaner and the protection of the environment more efficient.”

Waszczykowski, however, made it clear that “[Poland’s] economy cannot suffer from restrictions imposed by the world or the European Union,” adding that the conference does not concern the EU climate agenda.

Poland is sending a delegation of around 60 people to the conference in the French capital city. Prime Minister Beata Szydło will fly to Paris after Sunday’s EU-Turkey summit regarding migration in Brussels. (ua/aba/rk)
