Labour and Social Policy Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said on Wednesday he is aware that the wage gap between Poland and Western Europe is the main reason Poles choose to emigrate.
The ministry is thus introducing new programmes to help Polish youngsters entering the labour market.
“We will cover the social security costs, both on the employees' and employers' side, and will ensure the minimum wage is paid,” the minister said, presenting a new plan to support financially entrepreneurs who hire young workers under 30.
