As Sławek Szefs reports, the good news for Poland is that it will have access to the AGS radar system which the Global Hawk drones shall be part of.
“They can fly up to 60,000 feet and for as long as 36 hours,” Matt Copija from Northrop Grumman, the producer of the American UAV, told Polish Radio.
Equally important, the new Alliance Ground Surveillance system which makes use of the Global Hawks can be utilized also for civilian purposes, such as rescue operations.
