The UAE is Poland's main partner in the region followed by Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

The Omani side is reportedly looking for partners able to export large batches of food to that country, as well as to invest in manufacturing and food processing there.

Oman has also showed interest in increasing imports of Polish meat, milk, apples and cereals.

"The biggest competition in this region is in Qatar as there are a lot of foreign companies already present there. Oman may be the most undiscovered country in our relations, however, it is currently at the stage of opening its economy to the outside world so this is a good moment to start talks with Omanian partners," Deputy Foreign Minister Katarzyna Kacperczyk told our report Danuta Isler before departing to its capital, Muscat.
