Michał Kubicki interviews historian Krzysztof Niewiadomski of the Museum of Polish History.
Niewiadomski talks about Nowak-Jeziorański activities as an envoy shuttling between the commanders of the Home Army in occupied Poland and the Polish government-in-exile in London, and after the war as the head of the Polish Section of Radio Free Europe – a source of uncensored information for his compatriots in communist Poland.
In Niewiadomski’s view ‘he was a hero for everyone and it’s really difficult to be a hero for almost every political and ideological circle in Poland.’
