Vandals have scrawled an image of a pig on Poland's oldest mosque in the north east of the country.

Spokesman of the Muslim Religious Association in Poland, Musa Czachorowski points out that there had been several instances of similar attacks on Islamic religious symbols in Poland but never to the extent as happened this weekend.
"This is some kind of blind aggression, with no grounds, the pictures, the symbols are all mixed up. Never had such cases been directed at places which have been entered on the UNESCO heritage list,” he told Polish Radio.
