On this historic occasion, reporter Michał Kubicki meets Father Wiesław Dawidowski, an Augustinian monk based in Warsaw.

In Father Dawidowski’s view, the Polish pope will always be remembered as ‘a pope of the inter-religious dialogue, of meeting with the Jews; also as the first pope who was ready to beat his chest and make an act of public penance on the day of bringing the Church into the third millennium.’
