Eurostat reports that in 2013 EU citizens accounted for 61 percent of vicitms of human trafficking. Poles ranked high on the list.

Slave labor accounted for a sizeable part of cases discovered by international law enforcement institutions, however, the majority was connected with sexual exploitation of women and girls. We will also look at contemporary forms of patriotism and consider whether the notion should be re-defined to match present day attitudes of Poles.
